When I gave birth to our second child in 2015, things weren't easy as it was in my first. Obviously, this can be attributed to old age plus the worst traffic scenario in Metro Manila. Commuting every day makes me live two-thirds of my life in the street. My time for my newborn was very little. This made me very much guilty.

In 2016, I decided to change career. After working for the bank for 13 years I decided to quit. I decided to quit not because I'm a loser but because I wanted to succeed. I wanted to succeed as a mom to my kids and as a wife to my husband. I accepted a job in a telecommunication company. The job is very much opposed to my previous job. The pay is way lower than being a Manager in the bank. You might think I'm crazy, but NO! I just wanted to be a hands-on Mom. This job is nearer to my house so I have more time taking care of my daughters.

This has always been my dream. I envisioned myself to be a Mom who will personally bring and pick up her kids to and from school, attend every program in their schools, but at the same time must be financially stable enough so that she wouldn't be depending on her husband for her personal needs. This made her decide to find a home based job. 

​

In November 2018, I decided to further increase my skills, knowledge, and experiences by enrolling into a Freelancing Course. I believe this will fulfill my goal of living my life in my own terms without missing any important family and school event. Most importantly, I will be there to personally take care of my children every hour, every minute of their lives.

​
